What are immutable backups?
Immutable backups can't be changed or deleted for a set period, even by an administrator or attacker. That guarantees a clean copy survives a ransomware attack.
Isn't Microsoft 365 already backed up?
Microsoft protects its infrastructure, but under its shared-responsibility model your data is your responsibility. Independent backup of Microsoft 365 is strongly recommended.
